Kamyar Shabani is a Principal and Co-Founder of Optimus Properties, LLC (“Optimus”), an opportunistic real estate investment firm focusing on the acquisition and redevelopment of commercial, retail, office, medical office and multi-family assets. Kamyar oversees all aspects of the Company including acquisitions, dispositions, investor and lender relations, and general investment strategy planning.

K. Joseph Shabani
Principal/Co-Founder
Along with his brother, K. Joseph Shabani, co-founder and principal of Optimus Properties, LLC (“Optimus”), oversees all aspects of diligence, legal, and property analysis for Optimus Properties’ commercial and development acquisitions. Before founding Optimus Properties in 2007, Joseph worked as an attorney focusing solely on real estate matters and was a principal for the family real estate business, with deal sizes ranging from 4,000 to 200,000 square feet.

K. Joseph Shabani
Principal/Co-Founder
Along with his brother, K. Joseph Shabani, co-founder and principal of Optimus Properties, LLC (“Optimus”), oversees all aspects of diligence, legal, and property analysis for Optimus Properties’ commercial and development acquisitions. Matt Rothman
Director of Capital Markets
Matt Rothman has been with Optimus Properties since 2014 and brings over 25 years of real estate finance, valuation, acquisition and disposition experience, His responsibilities include investor relations, arranging loans on the company’s assets, acquisitions and due diligence. He also maintains several proprietary databases.
Prior to working at Optimus Properties, some of Matt’s roles have included leasing and sales at a boutique commercial real estate brokerage, flipping houses in Los Angeles, and opening the west coast office of Commercial Defeasance, the industry leader in CMBS loan defeasance, as their vice president of sales. Matt is a native of Southern California and graduated from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Dalton Treadway
Director of Asset & Project Management
Dalton joined Optimus Properties in 2017 and has overseen the property management operations of over 900 multifamily units throughout Los Angeles, Oregon, and Washington. Dalton has been crucial in rolling out new technology to improve property performance, including our automation of self-guided leasing tours, applications, and lease signing. This new streamlined process for tenants and property managers has resulted in an increased occupancy rate throughout the portfolio. Currently, Dalton is the Director of Asset and Project Management overseeing all renovations and capital improvements for multifamily and commercial properties. Dalton is a member of the Tau Sigma National Honor Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude from San Diego State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.

Isabelle Sedghi
Commercial Asset Manager
Isabelle joined the Optimus Team in 2019. Originally from south Florida, Isabelle has a Bachelor of Communications degree from Florida Atlantic University and has been in the real estate and development field since 2009. Isabelle holds a California real estate license and has practiced real estate across the country in South Florida, Manhattan, and Los Angeles. Isabelle oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire commercial portfolio including maintenance and leasing.

Isabelle joined the Optimus Team in 2019. Originally from south Florida, Isabelle has a Bachelor of Communications degree from Florida Atlantic University and has been in the real estate and development field since 2009. Jesse joined Optimus as Director of Acquisitions with responsibility for investment strategy, sourcing new investment opportunities, and expanding capital partner relationships. Prior to joining Optimus, Jesse was a Senior Vice President with Watt Investment Partners where he was responsible for the sourcing and management of equity investments. Previously, Jesse was the Vice President of Acquisitions at Laurus Corporation and Originator/Underwriter at Calmwater Capital where he closed over $300 million of senior and mezzanine bridge loans on commercial real estate properties. Jesse began his career as Director of Acquisitions at Levy Affiliated Holdings where he focused on value-add investment opportunities on the West Coast. Jesse received a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the University of California, Irvine.
